Hey everyone. I see I've been neglecting my journal as usual. Are any of you really all that surprised? I know I certainly am not XD... not much DeviantArt wise has happened since Anime Central 2009 this year, since that is the last con I went to. Been really busy with real life stuff since then, pretty much.

This summer I spent the most of my time working at the university teaching, and in the lab. I was going to work on my Master's Thesis, but unfortunately I was not given any real time to do that due to my intense teaching schedule. So during the summer I pretty much taught, graded, lab work, graded, taught, more labwork, etc. I then helped a collaborator compile all the necessary research he needed to complete his thesis this September. Then for most of October I worked on getting the rest of my research together to complete my work. Now that it is done, I'm beginning work on writing my Master's Thesis, which I hope to complete writing by the end of November at the latest, so it is totally meaning getting my ass in gear to do. If anyone has any suggestions on how to motivate themselves to write when they don't want to, I would be entirely more than willing to accept them.

In other news, things have been getting even more intense on my end out here. For the few of you not in the know, I am getting married to on November 21, this year. So we have been doing the final little bits of wedding planning that need to be done. It's really crazy, that's for sure, getting all that stuff done, but we're almost there. I really am looking forward to the wedding at least, and it will be nice to be able to call her my wife.
